Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Mid Level RF Engineer to assemble, test, and validate RF components and systems in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will work with RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas, performing measurements with network and spectrum analyzers and other test equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of RF assembly experience, an electronics-related associate degree, and the ability to support senior engineers in prototyping and validation

Qualifications

  • Three years of RF assembler experience required.
  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in related discipline.
  • Three years of additional RF assembler experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble RF components, subassemblies, and test fixtures with coax and waveguide connections.
  • Test, tune, and validate RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
  • Take measurements using network and spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
  • Assist senior engineers in RF system design and prototyping.
  • Prepare test results, procedures, and calibration data documentation.
  • Troubleshoot RF performance issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain lab organization, safety standards, and calibration records.

SME Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level

As a SME Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be required to:

  • Perform RF assembly of components, subassemblies, and test fixtures using coax and waveguide connections, and precision mechanical integration.
  • Assist in the testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
  • Conduct measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
  • Support senior engineers in the design and prototyping of RF systems
  • Prepare documentation, including test results, assembly procedures, and calibration data.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of RF performance issues.
  • Maintain lab organization, safety, and equipment calibration records.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Three (3) years of experience as an Rf Assembler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration/Networking, Electronics, or related discipline from an accredited college
  • Three (3) years of additional Rf Assember experience may be substituted for a Associate’s degree
Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications
  • Experience conducting measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
  • Experience with the testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  • $70,500 - $83,000
  • Sign-on Bonus up to $15,000 for eligible/qualified candidates
