Job summary

DS Bus Lines is seeking technicians to install and troubleshoot school bus equipment including two-way radios, cameras, GPS units and tablets at our Bayshore area sites. A strong background in 12V installation and related systems is a plus, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is required.

You will travel between our locations to service and install equipment, adhering to time schedules and company policies.

Qualifications

• Installing and troubleshooting two-way radios, vehicle cameras, GPS units and tablets.
• 12-volt installation/troubleshooting background is a plus (e.g., car stereo, remote starts, emergency lighting).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Bayshore, NY location.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot bus-related communications and safety equipment.
• Drive company vehicle from Bayshore, NY to sites as needed.
• Follow company policies and maintain timely communication and documentation.
