Job summary

aah in Milledgeville, GA seeks a part-time Radiation Therapist to deliver and document radiation therapy under the Radiation Oncologist. Responsibilities include image review, CT simulation, QA, and maintaining patient records with EMR. Requires completion of accredited Radiation Therapy program and familiarity with treatment planning and EHR systems.

Must meet L&D safety and patient care standards. Position is PRN/Part-time with pay range $38.20–$57.30 hourly; relevant licensure and workflow

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Strong knowledge of treatment planning and delivery.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and radiation oncology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the Radiation Oncologist.
• Reviews images and port films for patient setup and verification.
• Performs daily QA on equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Enters patient treatment parameters in EMR and maintains patient schedule.
• Performs CT simulation and block cutting, immobilization, MU calculations.
• Assists with patient positioning and transport; adheres to safety standards.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care and communicates effectively with team.
