Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent preferred.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience in radiologic technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing irradiation to patients according to prescriptions and physician instructions.
• Check prescriptions, charts, and patient identification before treatment.
• Explain procedures to patients and communicate during treatment.
• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy while observing radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Prepare rooms and equipment per prescriptions and simulations.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report to supervisors.
