Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract on-site in a healthcare setting. The role focuses on performing radiological exams safely, using proper exposure and positioning techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities include patient transfer, adherence to protocols, film and equipment QA, and HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information. CPR/HCP certification within 3 months of hire is required, and ARRT certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an ARRT-approved program.
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, RT (R).
• Registered ARRT(R) certification is required.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) must be obtained within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize automatic exposure control and accurately employ technical factors (kVp, mA, time, and distance) for exams.
• Employ appropriate positioning techniques and ensure correct body parts are imaged.
• Transfer and position patients safely while confirming appropriate preparations for exams.
• Maintain knowledge of hospital, departmental, and examination protocols.
• Perform quality assurance on films and equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
• Manage scheduling of examinations and handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in infection control principles and engage in professional growth through educational opportunities.
• Adhere to safety policies and engage in courteous interactions with team members and patients.
