Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Radiation Therapy Technologist to participate in all technical aspects of radiation therapy, including treatment simulation and administration as prescribed by the physician. The role requires ARRT registration or board eligibility and CPR certification, with a preference for candidates with one year of Radiation Therapy experience.

Graduates must complete ARRT registration within the stated timelines; ongoing credentialing and patient safety are prioritized

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT.
• Eligible for ARRT certification (Board eligible).
• New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six (6) months of graduation or hire date.
• New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one (1) year of graduation or hire date.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• One year previous experience in Radiation Therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physician.
