Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist to participate in all technical aspects of radiation therapy, including simulation and administration as prescribed by the physician.

Ideal candidates will be graduates of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program, registered with ARRT or eligible, and CPR certified. New graduates must complete ARRT registration within 6 months and pass boards within 1 year of graduation or hire date.

Qualifications

• Graduates must have completed an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• Registered as Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT.
• New graduates must take ARRT boards within six months of graduation or hire date.
• New graduates must pass ARRT boards within one year of graduation or hire date.
• Certified in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of treatments as prescribed by physician.

Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physician.

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology
• A. Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT

OR

• B. Eligible for certification by ARRT (Board eligible)
• A. New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six (6) months of graduation or hire date

AND

• B. New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one (1) year of graduation or hire date.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

Preferred

• One (1) year previous experience in Radiation Therapy.
