Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist to join our oncology team in Atlanta. You will participate in simulation and administration of prescribed radiation treatments, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program, with ARRT registration or board eligibility, CPR certification, and a willingness to pursue boards within the required timeframe.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT.
• Board eligible for ARRT certification.
• New graduates must start ARRT registration within six months of graduation or hire date.
• New graduates must pass ARRT boards within one year of graduation or hire date.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy including simulation and administration as prescribed by physician.
• Works with the oncology team to ensure accurate, safe, and effective patient treatment.

Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physician.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology
• A. Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT
• B. Eligible for certification by ARRT (Board eligible)
• A. New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six (6) months of graduation or hire date
• B. New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one (1) year of graduation or hire date.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year previous experience in Radiation therapy.
