Job summary

Northside Hospital is recruiting a Radiation Therapy Technologist to support simulation and treatment administration under physician directives. The role emphasizes teamwork with the radiology/oncology staff to ensure accurate planning and delivery of therapy to patients.

Ideal candidates will be ARRT registered or eligible, CPR certified, and have at least one year of Radiation Therapy experience. New graduates must complete boards within a year and comply with hospital credentialing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Registered as an ARRT Radiation Therapy Technologist.
• Eligible for ARRT certification (Board eligible).
• New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six months of graduation or hire date.
• New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one year of graduation or hire date.
• Certified in CPR.
• One year previous experience in Radiation Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physician.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology
• A. Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT

OR

• B. Eligible for certification by ARRT (Board eligible)
• A. New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six (6) months of graduation or hire date

AND

• B. New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one (1) year of graduation or hire date.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• One (1) year previous experience in Radiation Therapy.
