Qualifications

• Experience with radiation therapy techniques, including total body irradiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy.
• Experience in constructing patient immobilization devices
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
• Ability to maintain patient records and treatment plans
• Competence in using and adjusting radiation therapy equipment

Responsibilities

• Administers radiation therapy according to physician instructions and patient treatment plan.
• Enters data into the computer and sets controls to operate and adjust equipment and regulate dosage.
• Assists physicians and clinical physicists with physical and technical aspects of treatment plans.
• Constructs patient immobilization devices as ordered.
• Maintains patient and billing records, reports, and files according to department policies.
