Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible; maintain BCLS/Healthcare provider certification.
• New Graduates with a temporary Florida Radiologic Technologist License or proof of application; certification exam within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Implements the patient’s planned course of treatment as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologists.
• Follows predetermined treatment parameters set during simulation and planning.
• Coordinates with all areas in Radiation Oncology for scheduling, planning, and implementation of treatment.
• Communicates with UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health to ensure multidisciplinary continuity of care.
• Educates patients on diet and management of treatment side effects.
• Documents patient data, treatments, and charges to support continuum of care.
