Job summary

Strong team collaboration and communication are essential, along with ARRT registration, Texas licensure, and BLS certification. Prior CT simulation and imaging experience are advantages in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or approved certificate program.
• Current ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy and Texas licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to operate radiation therapy and simulation equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy accurately with supervision and adherence to protocol.
• Confirm patient identity, diagnosis, and treatment parameters before each session.
• Prepare treatment room and immobilization devices per instructions.
• Position patients safely and assist with transfers as needed.
• Ensure proper dose delivery and daily treatment documentation.
• Review treatment images and escalate discrepancies.
• Educate patients on procedures and potential side effects.
• Maintain patient-centered communication and monitor for changes.
