Our Radiation Oncology Clinic at our Plaza location is looking to hire a nurse to the team. This position is for a Full Time RN in an ambulatory setting and offers a Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm schedule with no holidays, no weekends, and no call. We are seeking experienced nurses with excellent multi-tasking skills, a desire for variety in their day, and an interest in providing care to radiation oncology patients.
The Radiation Oncology RN is responsible and accountable for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients within the department, as assigned by caseload or under the care of the department. Responsibilities include implementing Radiation Oncology orders for follow-up and status check appointments, patient education, physical assessments, nutrition counseling, distress assessment, and assisting providers with exams and procedures. The ability to communicate and present information effectively in written, auditory, or visual formats is essential.
