Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiation oncology or related field required.
• Must be ARRT certified and state license if applicable.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed radiation therapy treatments following orders and policies.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and treatment plans.
• Operates treatment and planning equipment and verifies dose calculations.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatments and care.
• Ensures safety by adhering to ALARA principles and equipment checks.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Ensures efficient department workflow and patient throughput.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team for optimal outcomes.
