Job summary

Cancer Center of South Florida is seeking a Manager of Radiation Therapy to oversee the daily clinical and technical operations of External Beam Radiation Therapy within the Radiation Oncology department. This role leads interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care, partnering with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and nurses to optimize treatment delivery and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or RTT program with active RTT certification.
Minimum of five years as a Radiation Therapist with at least two years in leadership within Radiation Oncology.
Preferred experience with Aria, GE Simulator, Varian TrueBeam, VisionRT, and Epic.

Responsibilities

Directs and manages radiation therapists and clinical staff in safe delivery of high-energy treatments.
Monitors treatment delivery accuracy and patient responses; escalates concerns promptly.
Develops staffing models based on patient volume and safety requirements.
Manages daily treatment schedules and ensures equipment functionality.
Oversees simulation setup, immobilization devices, and CT-based planning.
Provides coaching and clinical training to staff; drives performance improvement.
Leads quality improvement programs and analyzes data to improve efficiency and safety.
Ensures proper documentation of records and billing; maintains HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
Collaborates with clinicians in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings.
