Job summary

Elekta AB seeks an Associate Field Service Engineer based in Kirksville, MO. You will perform mechanical and electronic repairs on Elekta’s radiation therapy devices, conduct calibrations, and support a high standard of customer service while adhering to company policies.

You must be able to read schematics, use test equipment, and travel as needed, including unsociable hours. Requires an associate degree or equivalent in electronics/physics and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience in Electronics/Physics or related field.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-risk troubleshooting and repairs on designated medical modality.
• Conduct supervised calibrations and preventative maintenance.
• Read, analyze and follow blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Submit service reports, timesheets and paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain company-leased equipment and inventory; travel as required.
