The University of Kansas Health System in Overland Park, KS seeks a Radiation Therapy Assistant PRN to support therapists in delivering radiation treatments.

Responsibilities include observing patients, transporting to the department, preparing rooms, entering data in ARIA/O2 EMR, and communicating changes in patient status. Applicants should have a High School diploma and prefer 3–6 months of care experience; BLS certification is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year to 3–6 months in care settings preferred.
• Experience as MA, EMT, or LPN is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and monitor patients during treatment.
• Assist Radiation Therapists and transport patients.
• Enter and review patient data in EMR/ARIA.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain supplies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.
