Job summary

The role requires setting up treatment parameters, monitoring patients, and coordinating schedules while documenting care and maintaining equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensing to practice in Radiation Oncology is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up treatment rooms, devices, and parameters as ordered by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Identify patients and monitor them during treatment.
• Reinforce instructions and maintain patient markings.
• Position patients according to prescriptions and assist in treatment delivery.
• Coordinate treatment area activities and scheduling.
• Document thoroughly in treatment records and perform QA checks.
