Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring Radiation Therapists to join the oncology team. This full-time, first-shift position provides radiation therapy to patients under a Radiation Oncologist’s prescription, following established practices.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation packages for qualified candidates. Education required: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification preferred, and board passage within six months for

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology is REQUIRED.
• ARRT Certification is PREFERRED.
• New graduates must pass boards within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of Associates degree will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist and according to established practices and standards.
