Sentara Healthcare Inc. at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, seeks a Radiation Therapist I to join our radiology team. You will provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist, following established practices and standards.

This full-time, first-shift position offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for qualified candidates and relocation assistance. New graduates will begin as Radiation Therapist I and must pass boards within 6 months of hire, with

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology REQUIRED.
• ARRT Certification PREFERRED.
• All new graduates will remain Radiation Therapist I for the first 2 years of employment and are required to pass boards within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of Associates degree will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
