Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Staff Radiation Therapist for the Mojave Radiation Oncology Center in Apple Valley, CA. This full-time role offers an anticipated hourly pay range of $43.30–$61.80 with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will administer prescribed radiation therapy, verify doses, and collaborate with the oncology team to ensure safe, effective treatments. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, ARRT certification, and graduation from an accredited radiation therapy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• ARRT Board-certified preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology.
• Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by the ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy and verify treatment dose.
• Ensure shielding devices to protect healthy tissue.
• Simulate patients using simulator/CT to localize treatment areas.
• Maintain accurate treatment charts and records.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologist and therapy team on treatment plan.
• Adhere to radiation safety procedures and report abnormalities.
• Be on call as required.
