Job summary

HCA Trident Hospital in South Carolina is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver precise radiation treatments in collaboration with the oncology team. You will participate in simulations, CT planning, and maintain accurate treatment records to ensure quality patient care.

Qualified candidates will hold SC licensure as a Radiation Therapist and ARRT registration or eligibility, with graduation from an ARRT-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of South Carolina as a Radiation Therapist.
• Registered or registry eligible by ARRT.
• Graduate of an ARRT accredited program with a degree or certificate in Radiation Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments according to the treatment plan.
• Perform simulation and CT scans and maintain accurate radiation therapy records.
• Assist with scheduling and billing related to radiation therapy.
• Participate in morning meetings, chart review, and process improvements as required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Radiation Therapist provides radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures of Trident Health System. In collaboration with Radiation Oncologist, dosimetry, cancer center coordinator, front office staff, the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the Radiation Therapist evaluates the treatment plan, delivers accurate radiation therapy treatments, performs simulation, CT scans, maintain accurate radiation therapy treatments records and insures proper scheduling and billing. The job may also include assisting with the development of radiation therapy staff scheduling, participation in morning meetings, weekly chart review, participation in process improvements and other responsibilities as required by management.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure in the State of South Carolina as a Radiation Therapist; Registered or registry eligible by ARRT
• BLS – Healthcare provider and other certifications as defined by department
• Graduate of an ARRT accredited program with a degree or certificate in Radiation Therapy.
