Job summary

UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine in Sarasota is actively hiring PRN Radiation Therapists to cover shifts at the University Parkway location and at the Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion on the Sarasota Memorial Hospital campus.

The Radiation Therapist provides therapy support based on treatment plans under the Radiation Oncologist, with shifts 8am-4:30 PM and no weekends. Pay ranges from $41 to $47 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure (FL).
• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• ARRT certification and Basic Life Support/CPR at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy support based on designated treatment plans under the Radiation Oncologist.
• Cover shifts at University Parkway and Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion in Sarasota.
• adhere to clinic hours and safety protocols, including 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedules.

Job Summary

Currently hiring PRN Radiation Therapists to cover shifts at both our University Parkway location and at the new Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion located on the Sarasota Memorial Hospital campus.

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for providing radiation therapy support based on designated treatment plans under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.

Our PRN positions are set pay rates based on years of Radiation Therapy work experience:

• Less than 5 years experience = $41/hr
• 5-10 years experience = $44/hr
• More than 10 years = $47/hr

Required Qualifications

• Require current/active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• Require graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer experience with Varian equipment (True Beam and Aria).
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year as a clinical Radiation Therapist.

Required License and Certs

ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist

Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification (must have at time of hire - we accept it from American Red Cross & American Heart Association)

Both locations are open Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays).
