Five Star Nursing is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver precise radiation treatments for oncology patients using state-of-the-art linear accelerators. You will position patients with immobilization devices and image guidance to ensure accuracy, verify isocenters, and perform pre-session imaging.

The role requires ARRT(T) certification, a valid state license, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in oncology.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience in an oncology setting.
• ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy certification is required.
• Valid state licensure as mandated by local regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in operating linear accelerators and advanced radiation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise radiation treatments using state-of-the-art linear accelerators.
• Position patients with immobilization devices and IGRT/CBCT guidance.
• Verify treatment isocenters and perform imaging prior to sessions.
• Monitor side effects and report changes to the radiation oncologist.
• Perform QA checks on treatment equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Document treatments, patient responses, and equipment checks.
