Job summary

Catawba Valley Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our radiology team. You will perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist, ensuring patient safety and treatment accuracy.

You will position patients using external markers and internal anatomy, operate and maintain specialized equipment, and prepare detailed patient records and reports to support optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Registered ARRT in Radiation Therapy or registry eligible.
• BCLS certification required; if not from AHA, AHA cert within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures under supervision.
• Properly positions patients using external markers and anatomy for accurate dosing.
• Operates and maintains specialized equipment and prepares patient records.

Education

Graduate of an accredited program for Radiation Therapists

Registered ARRT in Radiation Therapy or registry eligible

BCLS certification

AHA certification within one month

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
