Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Radiation Therapist for the Abilene team. Under direct supervision, you will administer radiation therapy, accurately positioning the beam to match the tumor volume and delivering the prescribed dose, while supporting compliance programs.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited radiation therapy program with ARRT certification and a valid state license. You will document treatments, assist in scheduling, and collaborate with physicians and other therapists to

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist.
Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the EMR; participate in instruction of new therapists and students.
Maintain patient appointment schedules and submit accurate billing information.
Assist in block cutting and mold creation when applicable.
Interpret and apply computerized treatment plans.
