Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team at the TXO Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program, ARRT certification, and a valid state license.

You will administer radiation therapy under supervision and ensure accurate treatment delivery. Responsibilities include treatment delivery, entering parameters into the EMR, assisting in training, maintaining schedules, and supporting billing

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification is required and a valid state license must be held.

Responsibilities

• Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record; assist in instruction of new therapists and students.
• Maintain patient appointment schedules and ensure correct billing information.
• Cut blocks and create custom molds as applicable.

Education

Accredited radiation therapy technology program

ARRT certification required; valid state license for radiation therapy
