Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the radiation oncology treatment team. You will work closely with the physics and dosimetry departments to deliver precise radiation doses as prescribed by the oncologist and maintain professionalism in patient care.

The role requires ARRT licensure (or registry eligibility with certification within 6 months), BLS certification, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• ARRT licensure required or registry eligible with exam within 6 months of hire.
• BLS for Healthcare certification required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Regularly perform radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Regularly perform treatment simulations.
• Warm up and check delivery equipment daily.
• Schedule patient treatments and document processes.
• Collaborate with physics/dosimetry teams to ensure accuracy.
