Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the treatment team and deliver precise radiation doses as prescribed by the oncologist. You will work closely with physics and dosimetry, ensuring accuracy, patient communication, and professionalism in care.

Responsibilities include treatments, simulations, equipment checks, scheduling, documentation, and safety. Preferred candidates have cone beam CT or proton therapy experience and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiation Therapist certification required; candidates eligible within 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification is required at hire or within notice period.
• Strong computer and patient communication skills essential.
• Dependability and effective task prioritization are important.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients.
• Schedule treatments and perform simulations as ordered.
• Maintain daily equipment checks and quality assurance activities.
• Document patient care and charges accurately in the chart.
• Promote patient safety and engage in QA and process improvements.
