Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiation Therapy Assistant to support the Radiation Oncologist in treating patients with prescribed ionizing radiation using specialized equipment. The position is part-time with rotating shifts and per diem responsibilities.
Responsibilities include preparing the treatment room, positioning patients, explaining procedures, monitoring during therapy, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Assists Radiation Oncologist by treating patients with prescribed dose of ionizing radiation supplied and controlled through specialized radiation equipment.
