Astera Cancer Care in Monroe, NJ is seeking a per diem Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. This role focuses on delivering precise ionizing radiation per prescribed dose using IMRT, SRS, SRT and related technology, with a patient-first approach in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiation Therapy School.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification or Eligible.
• New Jersey Radiation Therapy License.
• BLS for Health Care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative environment with a patient first focus and a team approach to care.
• Deliver radiation treatment delivering the prescribed dosage of ionizing radiation precisely to each patient using state of art techniques including IMRT, SRS, SRT, Vision RT, Breath hold.
• Image patients per order, document and charge care provided.
• Monitor and adhere to all radiation safety procedures for the department.
• Maintain environment of care following best practice; minimizing risks and maintaining infection prevention standards.
