Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a Radiation Therapist to deliver accurate radiation treatments at MWHRO and SHRO, following the oncologist's prescription, and to assist in simulation and planning. You will document setups in ARIA, participate in QA, perform CT simulations, shielding device construction, and support doctors and physicists in brachytherapy.

This role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT or board eligible (must be registered within six months of hire).
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• One to two year’s relevant clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiation treatments per Radiation Oncologist’s orders with minimal supervision.
• Documents setup instructions and treatment parameters in ARIA daily.
• Participates in QA/QI for effective departmental operations and quality patient care.
• Performs CT simulations and treatment planning tasks.
• Assists physician and physicist with ACCUBOOST brachytherapy delivery.
