Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiation Therapist to assist the Radiation Oncologist by treating patients with prescribed dose of ionizing radiation using specialized equipment.

The role includes preparing treatment rooms, positioning patients, administering treatments, and monitoring during sessions. It requires graduation from an approved Radiation Therapy program and ARRT eligibility with licensure within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved program in Radiation Therapy.
• Board eligible by the ARRT or 1 year experience.
• Board eligible for registry by the ARRT. Must have graduated from accredited program and then has 90 days to present evidence of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room, position patients, and administer prescribed radiation treatments. Monitor patients during therapy sessions to ensure comfort and observe changes in patient’s condition.
• Demonstrates courteous, confidential patient care and maintains a professional image with patients, visitors, and staff.
