Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiation Therapist to assist the Radiation Oncologist in delivering prescribed ionizing radiation using specialized equipment. You will prepare treatment rooms, position patients, and administer therapies while monitoring patients for comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate should be a graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program, board eligible by ARRT or have 1 year of experience, and obtain ARRT licensure within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Radiation Therapy program.
• Board eligible by the ARRT or 1 year experience.
• Board eligible for ARRT registry; must provide licensure evidence within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room, position patients for therapy and administer treatments.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions to ensure comfort and observe changes in condition.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain strict patient and family confidentiality.
