Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy or eligible within required timeframes.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and proper use of radiation therapy equipment.
• Understanding of dosimetry and treatment planning concepts; collaborate with dosimetrists and physicists.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients.
• Operate linear accelerators and related equipment.
• Verify treatment plans per physician specifications.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for treatment; document procedures.
• Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and monitor patients for side effects.
• Coordinate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, nurses and team members.
