Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to support our Cancer Center Radiation Oncology team. You will perform localization, dosage review, and treatment delivery for patients, ensuring safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT registration and a BS or AS from an accredited RT program, with 2–5 years in healthcare. Join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care across our 674-bed main campus and affiliated facilities.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered and Florida licensure required.
• BS or AS degree from an accredited RT program.
• 2–5 years of experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsabilités

• Performs technical tasks associated with the localization of tumors.
• Review dosage calculations for accuracy prior to radiation treatments; delivers prescribed dosage of ionizing radiation to patients undergoing therapy.
• Observes and reports changes in patient's condition to Lead Radiation Therapist.
• Records treatment administered on patient's chart.
• Prepares examination room; explain procedures and assist patients in preparing for examination or treatment.
• Reviews set-up of equipment and patient positioning.
• Monitors adherence to radiation safety factors on the unit.
• Maintain equipment in safe and satisfactory working condition; stock and replenish supplies as required.
