Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in the Miami Beach/Aventura area is seeking a Radiation Therapist II for on-site care. You will localize tumors, calculate dosages, and deliver prescribed ionizing radiation while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include room setup, patient positioning, charting treatments, and collaboration with dosimetry staff. Required ARRT registration, Florida license, and a BS/AS in RT with 2–5 years healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered required; Florida State Licensure
• BS or AS degree from an accredited radiologic therapy program
• 2–5 years experience in a healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Performs tumor localization and reviews dosage calculations prior to radiation treatments; delivers prescribed ionizing radiation to patients.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition to Lead Radiation Therapist.
• Records treatment administered on patient chart and prepares examination room.
• Explains procedures and assists patients in preparation for examination or treatment.
• Reviews equipment setup and patient positioning.
• Assists other radiation therapists in planning treatment using dosimetry procedures and isodose curves.
• Monitors adherence to radiation safety factors on the unit.
• Maintains equipment in safe, satisfactory working condition and stocks supplies.
