Job summary

Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our acute care team on a PRN basis with 8-hour shifts as needed.

You will apply ionizing radiation under the Radiation Oncologist's prescription, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute to compassionate patient care.

Requirements include ARRT (T) certification, high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years experience preferred, BLS, and ability to pass competency testing.

What You'll Do

Applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One to two years of applicable experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification), required. BLS, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
