Responsibilities

• Applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Serves as a Super User for technology.
• Preceptor for new employees, providing training and mentorship.
• Performs both CT and treatment procedures with a high level of proficiency.
• Involved in HDR QA or specialized treatment protocols.
• Demonstrates expertise in VisionRT, Simulation/IV Contrast, and new treatment devices or protocols.
• Engages in at least 1 presentation/proposal to radiation leadership/physicians annually on cost savings, patient safety, or efficiency, ensuring that ideas are heard and implemented.
• Leads by example, promoting employee satisfaction through active involvement in process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School or GED, required.
• Experience: Three years, required. As a radiation therapist, including expertise in CT procedures, HDR QA, or other relevant specialized treatment protocols.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT in Radiation Oncology, required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
