Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer ionizing radiation therapy according to prescribed plans. The role involves working with physicists, dosimetrists, and oncologists to plan and simulate treatments, while upholding the hospital’s mission of compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification and Maryland licensure, a high school diploma and ARRT-approved program, and preferably a Bachelor’s degree with experience in a radiation oncology setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• Maryland state licensure to practice radiation therapy.
• At least one year of experience in radiation oncology preferred.
• Experience with linear accelerators, CT simulators, and HDR therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers ionizing radiation therapy per prescription and oncologist instructions.
• Collaborates with physicist, dosimetrist, chief therapist, and oncologist in planning and simulation.
• Supports Holy Cross Health mission and coordinated patient care.
