Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a registered radiation therapist.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification; CPR/BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA).

Responsabilités

• Deliver prescribed radiation doses following treatment plans.
• Position and immobilize patients for accurate targeting.
• Perform pre-treatment verifications of equipment settings.
• Explain procedures and potential side effects to patients.
• Provide emotional support and maintain patient comfort.
• Document treatments, settings and observations.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and communicate changes to the team.
