Qualifications

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and licensed by the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients as prescribed by the physician and directed by the physics department.
• Perform manual calculations.
• Fabricate custom shielding blocks.
• Perform QA checks and warm-up linear accelerators.
• Maintain communication with patients and families to provide information and support regarding treatment.
• Supervise all phases of student clinical rotations.
