Job summary

Ardent Health Services is hiring a Radiation Therapist for a day shift in Tulsa, OK. You will administer ionizing radiation to cancer patients under supervision, participate in simulation, and help implement the prescribed therapy plan.

The role requires ARRT certification or eligibility and adherence to safety protocols. Qualified candidates hold a Technical or Associate’s radiography degree, with BLS certification due within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate’s radiography degree.
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT. If registry eligible, must become advanced certified within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Physicist.
• Demonstrate knowledge of simulation procedure and be willing to rotate on all equipment.
• Understand and implement the prescribed radiation therapy plan.
• Accurately localize the treatment field and assure reproducibility.
• Schedule new patients for radiation therapy treatments.
