Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a day-shift position in Sanford, ME. The role delivers routine treatments under the Radiation Oncologist, collaborates with an experienced therapist, and supports patient care and room readiness.

Eligible candidates may be hired into full-time or part-time roles; a $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for candidates who join MaineHealth as Radiation Therapists.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program; minimum of Associate’s degree required.
• License/Certifications: State license as Radiation Therapist required. ARRT-R.T.(T) certification required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine radiation treatments under the Radiation Oncologist's direction.
• Assist with clinical set-ups and image guidance.
• Document accurately and escalate concerns promptly.
