Job summary

Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME seeks a full-time Radiation Therapist to join a busy oncology team. The role includes simulations, treatments, patient education, and chart QA under physician and lead staff supervision.

The candidate will work with 4 medical physicists, 4 dosimetrists, and a large therapy staff to ensure safe, accurate treatments and exceptional patient care. Sign-on and relocation bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT registration and Maine license as Radiation Therapy Technologist required.
• Experience with Mosaiq and Varian systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulations and treatments per physician orders.
• Conduct weekly chart checks and QA tasks on equipment.
• Educate patients and coordinate with nursing and medical staff.
• Be available for on-call shifts as needed.
