Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System is seeking a Radiation Therapist for day shift in Tulsa, OK. This full-time position provides ionizing radiation treatments under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Physicist.

The role requires an ARRT-registered or registry-eligible radiography degree, with advanced certification in Radiation Therapy within 60 days if registry eligible, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate’s radiography degree.
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
• If registry eligible, must become advanced certified in Radiation Therapy within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administers ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under supervision.
• Demonstrates knowledge of simulation procedures and rotate on all equipment.
• Interprets the radiation therapy plan prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Accurately localizes the treatment field and assures reproducibility.
• Schedules new patients for radiation therapy treatments.
