Job summary

Ardent in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Radiation Therapist to join our clinical team. You will administer ionizing radiation treatments and contribute to patient care under supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Physicist.

The role requires a radiography degree, ARRT registration or eligibility, and BLS certification. You will participate in simulation, plan localization, and scheduling for new patients, with opportunities for growth in a people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate’s radiography degree.
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
• If registry eligible, must become advanced certified in Radiation Therapy within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge of simulation procedure and rotate on all equipment.
• Understand and apply the prescribed radiation therapy plan.
• Accurately localize the treatment field and assure reproducibility.
• Schedule new patients for radiation therapy treatments.

Responsibilities

• The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Physicist.
• Demonstrate knowledge of simulation procedure and be willing to rotate on all equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the radiation therapy plan prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Accurately localize the treatment field and assure reproducibility.
• Schedule new patients for radiation therapy treatments.
