We are seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist to join our team in San Jose, CA. This role involves providing radiation therapy as prescribed by Radiologists or Oncologists, utilizing state-licensed technologist skills. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, preparing treatment equipment, maintaining records, and assisting in dosimetry procedures and tumor localization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver treatment to patients and perform patient simulations according to prescriptions and treatment plans.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Document treatment records accurately and maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Understand radiation oncology billing and coding processes.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients, families, and staff.
• Perform equipment checks and calibration as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ARRT-RT certification
• CRT-T certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of modern radiation therapy equipment and procedures.
• Understanding of human anatomy and patient positioning.
