Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist physician on clinic days, History and Physicals, coordinate care, V/S, point of care testing.
• Administer radiation per protocol.
• Coordinate patient flow with unit staff.

• Teaching hospital

General Information

• Beds: 1 Treatment room average 7-9 patients a day
  • 2 therapists

Experience: 2 years

• First-time traveler: Upon Review
• Outpatient Oncology patients only

Required Certifications:

• RN - BLS
• Radiation Therapist - BLS RTR cert

Skills required

• RN - Assist physician on clinic days, History and Physicals, coordinate care, V/S, point of care testing.

• Varian

Support on the Unit:

• 2 nd therapist working
• Radiation Oncologist on site twice a week
• Patient service representative responsible for scheduling, coordinating and patient flow
