Under direct supervision, the Radiation Therapist administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose is paramount.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands, occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, and lift or move up to 30 pounds. Requires vision and hearing corrected to normal ranges.
